What a file holds

One row per country, city, listing type and currency.

Column	What it holds
country	The portal market the listings are published on.
city	The city as the portal records it.
listing_type	Sale or rent.
currency	The currency the prices are published in.
listings	Listings with both a price and a floor area.
median_per_sqm	The middle asking price per square metre.
as_of	The date the prices were read.

How the figures are produced

Counts published listings only, located in the portal’s own country — the rule the portals use for what a visitor can see. Unpublished and deleted listings are not counted.
Prices are asking prices in the currency each listing was published in. Nothing is converted: a city with listings in two currencies has a row for each.
Where a city has too few listings for a statistic to mean anything, the row reports the listing count and leaves the statistics empty.

Source: Not built yet. The listings carry floor areas normalised to square metres, but the price query does not read them.
